Unplug Your Kids - Feather Challenge

We are pretty unimaginative here - for the feather challenge at Unplug Your Kids we couldn't think past birds

So we made simple birds from air drying clay and stuck in some feathers

I now think we could have made this easier by using playdough - we could have made lots more - and it gets smooshed up again (the less 'creations' lying around the house the better sometimes ;)

And Miss K crafted this bird using a tiny box and alfoil

We have lots of strawberry containers at the moment as they have been cheap. We glued feather on top to make 'special treasure containers' for all our treasures

Oh my goodness, how do you do this with a small baby? I am SO impressed! I loved your birds, but your comment about all the "creations" around the house really made me laugh. Many of our creations simply "disappear" after a bit. I feel guilty, but then I try to remind myself that it is "all about the process," right? Miss K's box-bird is a masterpiece worthy of keeping though.
