My Baby is no longer a Baby - WAH WAH!

Here is the birthday run down. I am very happy that it all went smoothly and that even though the new traditions were really for me (but I Know they will love them as the years go on ie The crown - my 2 year old freaks out major if you try to stick something on her head - maybe next year - 3 year olds like to be princesses no?)

The day started off with birthday biscuits (cookies). Thanks to my sister in law who just last week gave me enough cookie cutters to cover every single holiday and more. We made lots of 2's the night before. All she did was lick the icing off really - very healthy breakfast.

Presents - The frame has a letter we wrote to her. I saw similar on a blog I now can't remember. They wrote a letter about child's achievements for the year and how much the family loves them to be read to them the night before their birthday and put in a frame the next day - diplayed for their birthday. This was a quick addition last night, so she was already asleep. I think we will keep the letters each year.

Present from her Great Grandmother - we taught the kid well... she doesn't know how to open presents... we had to help her!! or is that a bad thing??

With the play food I made from felt - it was a hit... the older girls liked it too. I got the ideas from skip to my lou and from One Crafty Mumma

Does this say I am 2? T-shirt I stencilled. First attempted.. hopefully will be better next year.

More fun to be had at her party on Saturday - stay tuned.

Happy Birthday Gabrielle. I hope I spelled that at least close Bobbie. Sorry.

What a great day. I love the letter. That is going to be precious. She is just beautiful. All your kids are.

Have a great day today too.

Looks like lots of fun - so sad to have no baby - though from what I hear the youngest are the babies their whole lives, so don't worry - she'll always be there!!
