Since strawberries are cheap and in season at the moment I HAD to make Strawberry Pie... I was introduced to this through Americans at church.. Michelle made one as a prize for a service auction!!!YUM!! The last one I had was made by Alisha probably like 2 years ago now... so the time had come for me to make one myself and after seeing this post by Plum Pudding I decided to use her recipe
Bake your favorite pie crust and allow it to cool.
Fill with fresh, washed, cut or whole strawberries.
Make filling:
1 c sugar
1 c water
2 Tbs cornstarch
1 small pkg strawberry or raspberry jello
Mix sugar, water and cornstarch in a pan. Heat until boiling and thickened. Remove from heat and stir in jello. Pour over berries in crust. Refrigerate until set. Top individual pieces with whipped cream, if desired.
The girls love it and we have eaten nearly the whole thing for afternoon tea!!!

This looks delicious!! I will definately be making this! I wish I had this recipe after strawberry picking - when I had them coming out of my ears! I will put it on my list of things to make next year after picking day!!
