The first Mangoes

Daddy bought home our first mango for the upcoming season!! The girls were so excited. We all shared one mango - hard for this family of fruit loving girls. They can't wait for Christmas when they can have mangoes for breakfast.

Can you tell they loved their special treat for the week?

YUM! Brings back memories of the mango tree in our yard in Miami. We loved picking the mangoes and having mango ice cream.

Oh a mango sounds so good. I love that big ole pit that you scrape up. They are hard to eat, but so juicy and good. Yummy. Your childrens eyes are something else Bobbie. Beautiful.

Hi Bobbie! Thanks for stopping by my blog and for your lovely comment. Its so exciting to find other LDS bloggers in Australia. The first mango of the season is always the best, the smell totally encapsulates Christmas for me and gets me excited that its on its way. It looks like your girls love them as much as my boys do too!

We all love mangoes. One of the 1st pureed foods I fed the boys was mangoes never failed to delight and still try to sneak them into the fridge but they rarely make it all the way in. Yum
