With the windows open and beautiful sunlight streaming through, Children in their pjamas prancing around the place. They stir up the dust hidden in the couch, floor, toy boxes and it puffs into the air...
Mum.... it's .... SNOWING!! they say...
yes, beautiful I say... It's dust/fluff floating in the air, made beautiful by the sunlight. Obviously I need to clean some more... or we can go on pretending the dust is snow... I think I like that better!
They live for the day they will see real snow.. I was 15 and my husband 33 when we each saw snow for the first time. Even though it is getting cold here, winter is coming.... it has never snowed in our town....

I get so embarrassed when that occurs. And it is ALWAYS when my visiting teachers are here. Wouldn't you know it.
